Queen Brooke of Miranda has a lengthy experience with her country suffering during times of war, and took active steps to ensure that what happened during the Ekris War does not happen to the Mirandian people again. The invasion of Miranda has left countless people disaffected, and the Mirandian Military severely undermanned in several regions. In response to this, Miranda implemented a series of contingency plans in the event that the capital should fall. Taking advantage of Mirandian sentiments against the Paramisian government, and quickly implementing Mirandian troops that had gotten seperated from their units, the Mirandian Rebels are an irregular fighting force dedicated to ridding Miranda of the Paramisian Military once and for all. Whilst technically an independant army, the Mirandian Rebels are equipped and backed openly by the Mirandian Military. Primarily a guerilla resistance movement, the Mirandian Rebels nonetheless have access to military hardware for heavy lifting, including effective (if obsolescent) tanks and aircraft. It is currently led by Vanessa Canciaris, the younger sister of Queen Brooke Canciaris.

Overview and History[]
The armed resistance that is the Mirandian Rebellion began soonafter the Mirandian Occupation started, beginning with a budding insurgency in the capital to deal with the occupying Paramisian ground forces. In short order, commanders and support began to emerge, and what started as a barely-organized group grew into something more. With constant monetary, military, and vehicle support trickling in, the Mirandian rebels have gradually grown into a much more coherent fighting force, one willing to openly engage in combat with the Paramisian Military. What the rebels lack in equipment, they've made up for in moxie, ingenuity, and spirit. Their objectives and alliance to the Mirandian Military puts them at odds with Destiny's Call, Natural Selection, and Without Borders, as well as with Paramis itself.
